Age Group of Patients: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: cholecystectomy, appendectomy, thoracoscopy, total knee replacement, exploratory laparotomy, herniorrhaphy, total hip replacement, dilatation & curretage, foot incision & debridement, arterio-venous fistula placement
Any special procedure done on the unit? No - most surgical services provided EXCEPT: no organ transplants
Common Equipment: Standard OR equipment - 9 O.R.s; have anesthesia technician support and surgical aides
All OR travelers must take call; 30 min. response time required.
